This sturdy and robust model of decorative columns (in diameter 100 mm) in both cast and extruded aluminium is particularly appropriate for on-street, arcade and precinct installations. But it is also very well adapted for large terraces, verandas or pergolas, arcades around a swimming pool, conservatories or canopies. This ornamental column can also be employed for interior renovation or decoration purposes: loggias, mezzanines, canopies, lofts. This model will be perfect for the embellishment of any kind of mansion. It has an imposing design that makes it an elegant, traditional and well-balanced column, as you can find in the small French Britany harbours such as Perros-Guirrec.

The end-pieces of this column are nice and complex aluminium decorative casting works, well-assorted to each other. Such a cast aluminium column is nearly as solid as a cast iron column. In a height of 2.5 m, it will bear 8.7 tons with a wall-thickness of 5 mm, and 15.5 tons with a wall-thickness of 10 mm. It can be used for heights of up to 3 meters and it is very easy to install.

Perros-Guirrec is a charming and picturesque harbour in the "Côtes d'Armor" French department of North Brittany. It was recently classified by the French magazine "L'Observateur" as the nicest French sea resort. Its landscapes are really grandiose: all rocks are of "rose granit" that takes wonderful shades in the early morning sun or at sundawn. Its population is multiplied by a factor of 8 during the summer;  so, why not try the Spring or the Autumn... Visit also the neighbouring harbour of Ploumana'ch, in the same district. The components of our ornamental, architectural and structural columns are cast and extruded in our aluminium foundry located in Belgium, using the very ancient and traditional sand-casting method. This is time-consuming and rather expensive, but it is a guarantee of quality.
